I'm a Terrible Girlfriend

The boyfriend and I started dating when I was at my worst. I literally spent an hour of our second date telling him how he should be running, that I was a mess, blah blah blah. He assured me he knew what he was getting into, and it was his choice. I did tell him that at some point I would be the best girlfriend.... just didn't know when.

A few months later one of our co-workers, who apparently was the only one not to know we were dating, asked me if I was single. I said "yes" thinking he meant married or not. Doh.... not used to this dating thing, but realized my mistake when he tried to set me up with his friend ;)

I actually feel like I've gotten to the point of being a pretty darn good girlfriend. However, last night he says to me, "OH! Did you know we were in a relationship?!" to which I respond, "uhhhhh, no?" He tells me that facebook just told him so, after he finally logged in and confirmed me as his girlfriend. After laughing about that for a minute, I realized that my answer of "no" to the question was probably NOT the right answer ;)

but now it's official... facebook says so!
