Marietta Diner

I spent some time this past weekend in Atlanta - my first real visit to the city, other than the time I hitchhiked there after a flight cancellation in Chattanooga (how much do I love being able to reference my life via previous blog posts?! Such a motivator to get me blogging more!).

The time was very full, and I sadly did not get to squeeze in any Funaholic time (although, there was a point with 25 spare minutes before needing to be at the airport that I had a moment of consideration and there were a few fleeting moments of virtual Funaholic bonding ;)

One highlight was a visit to the Marietta Diner, as featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. It was..... overwhelming. The menu is HUGE, the portions are HUGE, and the dessert case is MONSTEROUS.

After much consideration, I opted to try the Crazy Cake. I was already sold on it just based on the volume of sprinkles decorating the outside. When I heard that the inside was layered with carrot cake, red velvet cake, chocolate cake, and white cake.... well, what other option was there?
